Along my travels and through my work I discover brands, artists and people doing things in a beautiful way. People who are trying to make a positive impact with the products they are putting into the world. Listed below are just some of the brands I love and endorse.
This is by no way an exhaustive list so I’ll be adding to it over the course of time as I come across new brands and remember old faithfuls - if you have any recommendations please let me know.

Know The Origin.
If you want to shop more consciously, knowing the source of the product is trustworthy you can do a lot worse than visiting Know the Origin. The team ta Know the Origin have taken the hard work out for you and you can shop confidently knowing many factors have been taking into account stocking each product including fair labour.
Big Green Smile.
Think of Big Green Smile as an ethical Boots - natural beauty, baby and cleaning products all been sourced carefully with all products meeting certain criteria by sections including vegan, cruelty free, organic and soil association approved. Perfect for those new to the natural world and aren’t sure where to start.
Planet Organic.
Found in many London boroughs, Planet Organic is the cities go to for health foods, supplements, beauty products and sweet treats. Planet Organic have their finger on the pulse with new brands so it’s a great place to shop if you want to stay current with what’s available on the ethical market.
Ethical Superstore.
The department store of the eco world - clothes, homewares and functional products all under one roof. You can shop by ethics and by type - there’s thousands of products so a one stop shop for your eco living. Just a heads up, the site doesn’t seem to work well in Safari so best to open in a different browser.

Allbirds.
I had been lusting after a pair of Allbirds for so long - I love their communication, their ethos, their mission and most of all their trainers! I managed to bag some discontinued stock on a one off sale and will never buy a pair of unethical brand trainers again!
Kit Change.
Like with Yoga Matters it was a joy to come across Kit Change - their activewear is really beautiful and made from recycled bottles. They also champion inclusivity in all their campaigns and communication. Read more about their sustainability here.
Kind Clothing.
Kind Clothing offers cheerful basics like tracky bottoms, hoodies and t-shirts with a kind spin. Every purchase plants a tree and all packaging is plastic free. Sizes go up to a 2XL and all garments are made in a solar powered factory using vegan inks.
NOLA brand.
Made in a small studio in Manchester and sold in a shop in Brightons North Laine, NOLA sell beautifully made small run pieces, often made from roll ends of fabric lovingly sourced. These are investment pieces and every NOLA garment I own I cherish!
Sancho’s.
While more and more choices are finding their way to the market my experience is it’s incredibly hard to find clothing that tick the sustainability, inclusive and stylish boxes. Enter Sancho’s, a black owned emporium of carefully selected sustainable clothing.
Know The Origin.
I just love this website - the clothing is carefully selected and while you’re there you can buy your beauty and home bits. The site is well thought out, a breeze to use and the products come quickly in lovely, plastic free packaging.
Yoga Matters.
When I found Yoga Matters it was a huge relief - the yoga world has long been guilty of using one body type, alienating the rest of us from a world that should be for all. Hurrah for companies like this who send the right message AND are conscious.
Colourful Standard.
This company take every element of their process seriously using sustainable fabric, earth friendly dyes, ethical labour processes and full transparency about their business practices. These, often genderless, basics are well made and timeless.
Organic Zoo.
While I’m not a parent I’ve found it hard to find well made baby clothing for gifts and extra joy comes from it being unisex and organic. There’s also a good selection of accessories like blankets, bibs and bedding. So gorgeous.

Green People.
I have long been championing Green People. They were on the forefront of the natural beauty scene when I started making the switch over ten years ago. Since then I’ve worked with them on a number of occasions and will always recommend them.
Wild Deodorant.
Simply the best one out there, without a doubt. It really works and it’s fuss free being as you can sign up for the subscription and get 3 plastic free refills delivered every three months. I have all my friends and family on it and we all agree it’s brilliant.
Neals Yard.
Long been an institution in the natural skincare world they also offer herb for teas. Their skincare, while on the higher budget end, are simply beautiful. If you’re not sure what to order, why not book a party?
Evolve Beauty.
My other go to brand is Evolve, considering the quality of ingredients and how well the products work they are incredibly reasonably priced. I love the travel sizes for life in the van too. My hero product are many but especially the Hyaluronic Serum.
B Skincare.
I discovered this brand recently and it’s perfect for when you’re tightening the purse strings - effective skincare made with natural ingredients at an affordable price. If budget allows just one products go for the face oil - for under a tenner it’s a bargain.
Maya Njie.
Having stumbled across the Nordic Cedar perfume in a shop I am now an absolute fangirl of everything Maya does. Her genderless scents are BEAUTIFUL and the vibe, ethos and production methods are spot on.
Truthpaste.
The only natural toothpaste for me, I have tried soooooo many and this comes out top. Not only does it work but it’s also zero waste. I always go for the Wintergreen one - once you’re used to this you will never use another toothpaste, they pale in comparison!
Haeckels.
Constantly pushing the boundaries on harnessing nature for personal care, Margate based Haeckels take the magic of seaweed and plants and transform them into incredibly effective products that have a positive impact on our world.
Tisserand.
When I think aromatherapy I think Tisserand. Their essential oil blends, massage oils and roller points have been in my bathroom cupboard for years. My favourite thing is to add a bottle of bath oil to a jar of salts.
Self Care.
I’ve weeded out the greenwashers so you don’t have to.
Elä.
Elä is the sister brand to Also Home and the products match their homeware in that they are meticulously made and look gorgeous. The scents are lovely and would make a luxurious addition to any bathroom cabinet.
Neom.
The trailblazers of the luxury home scent market! Neom have been creating their beautiful blends for many years and it’s all made from high quality ingredients. Their diffusers really transform a room and I live for their mini pod.
Seven Seventeen.
Candles with a heart! And more. This lovely range of scents are really effective, the 3 wicks give off so much scent that I often use them in the garden. The diffusers are incredibly effective and every purchase sees a donation to a mental health charity..
Homework.
There is no denying that the price point on these products mean they are a treat, but we all deserve a treat right?! I am so into Homework products - the bath salts are something else, reserved for when I really need to give myself some love.
Made By Coopers.
The most beautiful pillow sprays, bath salts and home scents. Including organic eye masks and meditation pillows. All natural and organic and registered with the Vegan Society. These products make perfect gifts, I’m lobbying for the face and body oil!
Menopoised.
Founded by acupuncturist Jo Darling, Menopoised offers little magnets that helps with the symptoms of menopause. There’s also roller ball essential oils that smell divine, I’m not menopausal yet but still have them to hand!

Non toxic cleaning, washing and best products to reduce plastic in your home.
& Keep.
& Keep set out to source and sell products that are designed to last, therefore reducing our consumption and impact on the planet. They sell everything from cleaning to pet care as well as bathroom essentials. Delivery is free over £40 and super reasonable at £2.95 under that. Definitely recommend.
Norfolk Natural Living.
I am obsessed with this brand since discovering them recently. Enchanted by the multi purpose spray I got to work trying some of the other products and then bought myself a perfume of the Coastal Walks. Just so delightful and the scent is long lasting. Really effective products, fair pricing, LOVE.
Bumboo.
I’ve tried a few brands of loo roll subscriptions and Bamboo is by far the best in my opinion. It is strong, soft and flushes well. It also looks beautiful in my bathroom but you can opt to have the non wrapped rolls too. Check out their FAQ section to understand more about their processes and choices.
The Good Dogg.
OMG. I stumbled upon The Good Dogg when I was in Woodbridge and I wanted to bu everything for Monty. The dog care market is renowned for being overpriced, badly manufactured and unsustainable but these folk are changing the tide. Perfect gifts for any dog loved or for your own pooch.
Spruce.
I don’t know how I ever lived without Spruce, I love their products so much! I spray my surfaces just because of the pleasure of using it, meaning my kitchen has never been cleaner. The plastic free refills are small and easily postable and I keep a stock in in a jar under my sink. Read more here.

Know The Origin.
Moved by a tragedy caused by unethical labour practices the founders of Know the Origin set out to provide a shop where you can trust in the story of each product. They take into account many factors including carbon footprint and all the Labou involved in the manufacture of each product.
JUNGLE CULTURE.
First started as a bamboo straw store, they have now expanded to other awesome eco products and offer lots of handy products at good prices. Think eco water bottles, green washing up, bamboo cutlery, coconut dining ware and lots of other goodies.

Planet Organic.
Your one stop shop for all things ethical and natural! For anyone that’s shopped in one of these in London you’ll be happy to know they are online and it’s an efficient system. Raw chocolate, great food treats, teas, supplements and lots of skincare. Planet Organic is also a great place to research new brands.
Bare Biology.
I will not be without my morning Bare Biology! I always have a Rise & Shine in the morning and pop a few spoonfuls of collagen in my morning smoothie. Founded by Mel who takes quality seriously,, the ingredients are sourced meticulously. The best fish oils out there.
Pact Coffee.
Mmmm coffee. Mornings aren’t the same without one. But it’s hard to find good coffee that ticks the good practices boxes. Pact pay their farmers 65% above the basic fair-trade price and are committed to changing the coffee industry for the good. You can tweak your subscription to work for you and don’t have to lift a finger!
Dorset Sea Salt.
Dorset is my soul home, I used to live there and every year I make a conscious effort to get to the Jurassic Coast to fill my cup. In the meantime I love this salt sourced from the area in the most ethical way possible. Marrying traditional and new production methods this salt has soul.
Wild Nutrition.
Having trained in nutritional therapy I’m still in the circles. Wild Nutrition are the gold standard of supplements and my personal go to. Made from ethical and sustainable ingredients, these products are food grown and made only from natural sources, therefore void of chemical bulking and caking agents.
The Good Club.
Think a zero waste version of Ocado. So clever! The Good Club deliver your food refills in pots and then you transfer your stuff to your Kilners and leave the empty delivery pots out for collection the next day. They also stock Spruce so you can save on delivery and packaging.
Healf.
In this world of nutri bollocks where there are a wealth of supplements and ‘health’ products available it can be hard to know what’s good and what’s not. Healf use industry experts to source the products available on their site and there are great things for mind, body and soul.
